Only 1/2 hour wait at 7:15 AM at First Baptist polling place (Clairemont East). Line moved quickly. They won't let you bring coffee into the polling room so drink first!

A note from Fulton Elections officials:
The following 3 precincts experienced some technical difficulties:
-The Cleveland Avenue Library located at 47 Cleveland Avenue SW- suffered a power outage; however, power has been restored to the facility. Voters at precinct were able to vote on the machines utilizing battery power.
-John C. Birdine Neighborhood Facility located at 215 Lakewood Way SW- suffered a power outage; however, power has been restored to the facility. Voters at precinct were able to vote on the machines utilizing battery power. Power is expected to be restored at 9:15 a.m.
-Palmetto Senior Center located 510 Turner Avenue- Malfunctioning key to the facility- Voters were able to vote by provisional ballot.

Douglas County Elections Supervisor said 45% of the county's active voters have already voted. That number is down from 4 years ago when 54% early voted. However, four years ago voters had 6 weeks to early vote and this year they only had 3 weeks plus one Saturday.

Sherry Hughes just voted at the Old Douglas County Courthouse and said the wait was "15 minutes tops." She said there was a separate line for Douglasville folks to vote on Sunday alcohol Sales. "My only complaint was that there was no sign for that," she said. Hughes said she parked in Douglasville's new, free, parking garage, walked to vote and then walked to work at the Irish Bred Pub. The Fulton County Manager’s office has deployed eight additional vehicles to be dispatched to the elections warehouse in order to expedite the delivery of supplies to various locations. In some cases, supplies have been depleted due to the volume of voter turnout today.

OK, in DeKalb, we've got the totals for all in-person absentee votes. 148,242 total in-person absentee votes for president. Romney took 22,783 and 15.37%. Obama took 124,556 and 84.02%. Gary Johnson took in 686 votes, and the rest were write-ins. Again, these are only the in-person absentee votes.
